The Spring Season is from August – November.
Our daily rate for spring is R12 000.00
Winter Season
The Winter Season is from May – July.
Our daily rate for Winter is R10 000.00
Summer Season
The Summer Season is from February – April.
Our daily rate for Summer is R13 500.00
Peak Season
The Peak Season is from December – end of January.
Our daily rate for Peak Season is R15 000.00
The MUSSELCRACKER has 5 well-appointed double room suites, with 2 of those being large family rooms.
The seafront home boasts accommodation for up to 10 guests. The home gives guests the space to breathe, relax and enjoy the never-ending display of playful dolphins, seals and whales, also with an abundance of sea-bird life but to name a few…..the home with double volume light filled and open spaces lends itself to being in harmony with creating an unforgettable experience.
Ideal for families or groups that value togetherness, but yet at the same time having enough breakaway spaces to make the most of the expansive home. With tranquil ocean and beach sounds… augmented by the widest opening and stacking doors, it connects you directly to the idyllic west coast beach and Shell Bay lighthouse.
The interiors of the home have been done with love and style with the cool beach tones bringing in the beachfront into the home, blending and synchronising the two.
Floor to ceiling doors that open out allow the cool summer breezes to filter through the house, thus giving a spacious, open and tranquil feeling, bringing the beach to your deck.
The spacious food prep and presentation areas in the kitchen are generous. The custom built table for 12 is the heart of the dining area.
The reception rooms with tones of the sea and with an open bar area, is ideal for entertaining in style, yet having a direct connection to the pool area.
This is a home so unique, that it has to be lived in to be enjoyed and to understand the alchemy that turns a holiday into a forever memory.
To Make your stay extra special
The property is situated on an exclusive West Coast security estate, with direct access onto the beach via a private boardwalk. Facilities include a built-in gas braai, a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, plus high speed internet and WIFI.
It is recommended you have your own transport to make the most of your stay, however airport transfers can be arranged. Also a pre-stocking of food and refreshments service is available. Please enquire about this service and the costs.
A cleaning fee of R1500 will be added as an additional charge when you book your stay. However, should your needs require additional frequency, please let us know and we can supply you with the related costs.
Finally, to start your holiday on the right note, we can arrange an initial food and refreshments order to be ready in the fridge when you arrive.
Costs will depend on your requirements.
Our Terms and Conditions

There may not be more than 10 guests staying in the house. NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12.

The house may only be occupied by the renter and pre-approved guests.

The guests list needs to be completed in advance on all bookings.

Day visitors only by prior arrangement.

Arrival and departure times are to be adhered to unless altered with prior approval.

Children (over the age of 12 ) must be under parent supervision. No children are allowed un-supervised in or around the pool for their own safety.

No pets allowed.

Disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated.

No smoking or vaping in the house!!!

No events can be hosted (big or small). I these rules are breached your stay will be terminated immediately.

Call out, lost key service and repair to damaged item fees will be for the tenant’s account.

This includes appliances, furniture and/or furnishings, any items that are damaged or broken. Please let us know if anything is damaged.

Any lost keys are charged at R2000 per incident.

All music to be turned down by 22H00(10 PM)

At no time can the guest deny staff access into the house.

The pool is unprotected and at no time can children be left unattended.

Doors must be closed and locked at night for insurance purposes, and to be valid in case of an incident.

The owners reserve the right to terminate any stay if the above conditions are not met.

Water and other utilities and resources are to be mindfully utilised.

The lounge fireplace, must not “under any circumstances” be used as a braai.

The using or entering the jacuzzi on top deck is totally forbidden. Access of the top roof deck is not allowed.
We have a minimum stay requirement of 3-night stay during the winter, spring and summer season. 4-night stay on long weekends and 7 nights stay minimum in peak seasons.
